Had a great lunch this afternoon at 新怡保鸡饭店 Ipoh Chicken Rice @ Sunway Pyramid.
It's outdoor, near Kim Gary & Chattime but its air-conditioned. The environment was clean and the table and chair are really comfortable. It's not noisy at all. And the room temperature was not hot either, maybe it's because it's almost raining. It started to rain after we about to go to class.
I ordered steamed chicken rice set (RM12 with GST) , you will have to add extra RM2 if you want to order drink but I brought my own mineral water today. It came with a drumstick steamed chicken, tomato, cucumber, bean sprout, tofu with minced meat and a bowl of soup. So RM10.90 for a set of chicken rice is not really expensive. They also got the set without the side dishes and it costs around RM6 or 7.
I really enjoyed the meal, especially the tofu. And a big portion of bean sprout, one of my friend even struggled to finished it, but its a little salty. Their chicken was not really fully cooked but its soft and it don't tasted weird even if its not fully cooked. Their rice was alright, its nice that it's clean, not oily or super yellowish.
Their customer service was good, not super polite but its good. The food came out fast after we ordered and the food temperature was warm. The portion was big, but I can still manage to finish it and i was super full after that.
